First payment: DKK 10,000 (not refundable) Single Cask whisky is a one-of-a-kind experience. Each cask is unique, with its own character, shaped by spirit, cask, environment, and the passage of time. This is not your average single malt – here you get some serious cask influence in the shape of a sweet maple syrup cask and a potent virgin oak cask. The spirit is fruity, malty, citrussy, and fresh – and the casks are full of vanilla, toasted oak, toffee, and soft tannins to balance things out. Made from locally sourced barley, floor-malted in-house, and double distilled in direct-fire alembic pot stills. The craft approach is strong in Stauning. Expect an extraordinarily smooth, rich, and velvety sweet single malt whisky. Flavour profile: Distinctive and rich flavour profile. The influence of the maple syrup imparts deep sweetness, with notes of caramel, honey, and toasted sugar.
