This is a pretty Antique Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Spoon, perfect for using with tea or coffee or using as a scoop. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great gift. It was hallmarked in London in 1821 and the maker’s mark is MM, possibly for Mary Morris. The marks are on the back of the handle. The silver spoon has a lovely fiddle design handle and a large shiny bowl. Fiddle shaped cutlery was very popular in the Georgian and Victorian eras and this is a beautiful example of them. It’s in good condition. The silver is shiny with light scratches and a few faint tarnish spots on the back of the handle next to the hallmarks. It measures 8.8cm in length (3 1/2 inches) and weighs 15g.
