In 2026, Brunton became the official compass for Scouting America and the Orienteering/Map & Compass merit badges. We are excited to support and participate in the education of such an important skillset for scouts. Brunton will even be at the 2026 Jamboree in July! The TruArc 3™ is our best-selling baseplate compass – a classic yet modern navigation tool. It is compact, lightweight, and great for all ages. The baseplate features edge rulers in inches and cm/mm for maximum map measurement versatility.
