MYSORE PALACE (BLOUSE)

STORY: The most beautiful part of #beneathmyfeet series is how it inspired not only me but my other team mates too. Shristi visited Mysore Palace in April 22 and sent me a series of what lied beneath her feet. The tiles took my breath away. But what stayed the longest were the floral tiles. Beautiful turquoise, yellow, brown and green. And of all the pictures she sent, only this pattern had cracks. I feel strange things for broken souls. We made two blue prints of the patterns. One for embroidery and the other for our Shantipuri sharee border. After repeated trials, both came out the way we wanted. Simple, raw, old school an yet beautiful. We have named them "Mysore Palace".
