Join our expert local guide as we stroll through centuries of fascinating history, uncovering stories of sieges, survival, and culture hidden within these ancient walls. After a welcoming group lunch in Derry, we’ll make our way to the beautiful Inishowen Gateway Hotel in Buncrana, where stunning views of Lough Swilly await. This evening, settle into Irish life with a special musical performance from some very talented guests. Then it’s time to recharge-there’s plenty of adventure ahead! DAY 2 – Exploring the Wild Inishowen Peninsula Exploring the Wild Inishowen Peninsula Today we discover the dramatic beauty and hidden secrets of the Inishowen Peninsula, one of Ireland’s most spectacular and lesser-known regions. Our journey takes us along the mysterious Magic Road and through the breathtaking mountain pass of Mamore Gap, where every turn reveals another unforgettable view. We’ll stop for photographs on the Magic Road where you can snap some pics of some of the most gorgeous scenery in Ireland, before stepping back in time with a guided visit to the fascinating Doagh Famine Village, where Ireland’s past comes vividly to life. After lunch at the famous Seaview Tavern, we’ll continue north to Banba’s Crown at Malin Head, the northernmost point of Ireland and a filming location for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This evening, enjoy more music, laughter, and local hospitality back at the hotel with special guest performers. DAY 3 – Legends and Landscapes of Northern Ireland Legends and Landscapes of Northern Ireland Today we cross into Northern Ireland to experience some of the most iconic sights on the island. Our first stop is the world-famous Giant’s Causeway, where mythology and geology combine to create one of the world’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Hear the legends of giant warriors as you walk among the remarkable basalt columns. We’ll then visit the charming village of Bushmills, where you’ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch. Next comes the dramatic clifftop ruins of Dunluce Castle, one of Ireland’s most photographed castles and a famous filming location from Game of Thrones. Perched above the crashing Atlantic waves, it truly feels like stepping into another world. On our return journey, we’ll visit the ancient hillfort of Grianán of Aileach, a place steeped in Celtic legend and offering panoramic views across several counties. After a group dinner, we’ll round off the day with live music and great company at the legendary Drift Inn. DAY 4 – Along the Wild Atlantic Coast to Donegal Town Along the Wild Atlantic Coast to Donegal Town This morning, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of Fanad Lighthouse, learning about its fascinating maritime history while soaking up spectacular coastal scenery. What comes next? That’s part of the adventure! We’ve planned a special surprise experience for the afternoon that will make this journey even more memorable. Later, we’ll arrive in Donegal Town, where you’ll check into a beautiful 4-star hotel and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation. Music plans for the evening are still under wraps-but rest assured, the Northwest always has a tune waiting around the corner. DAY 5 – The Majesty of Sliabh Liag The Majesty of Sliabh Liag Today is all about epic scenery, rich history, and unforgettable music. We’ll begin with a guided tour of Donegal Castle, once home to the powerful O’Donnell clan, before enjoying free time to wander the charming streets of Donegal Town. After lunch, prepare for one of the highlights of the entire tour: the magnificent Cliffs of Sliabh Liag. Towering high above the Atlantic Ocean, these spectacular sea cliffs are among the highest in Europe and offer views that will stay with you forever. As evening approaches, we’ll travel to the heritage town of Ardara and the famous Beehive Bar for a very special concert featuring some of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians. After an unforgettable night of music, we’ll return to our hotel. DAY 6 – From Donegal to Westport From Donegal to Westport Today we continue south along Ireland’s stunning northwest coast. Our first stop is the remarkable prehistoric monument of Creevykeel, one of Ireland’s best-preserved megalithic tombs and a fascinating window into life over 5,000 years ago. We’ll then visit Drumcliff, final resting place of Nobel Prize-winning poet W.B. Yeats, and explore the beautiful churchyard and chapel that inspired so much of his writing. After lunch and a visit to the excellent National Museum of Country Life, we’ll arrive in the lively town of Westport, checking into the luxurious Westport Plaza Hotel. Tonight’s group dinner comes with a twist-a fun and relaxed Pizza Party before you head out to enjoy Westport’s famous pub scene at your own pace. Be sure to visit the iconic Matt Molloy’s Pub, renowned worldwide for traditional Irish music. DAY 7 – Your Day, Your Adventure Your Day, Your Adventure Today is yours to enjoy however you choose. Relax and unwind, wander Westport’s colorful streets, browse local shops, enjoy a leisurely lunch, explore nearby attractions, or simply soak up the welcoming atmosphere of one of Ireland’s most beloved towns. Whatever your style, today is all about making your own Irish memories. We will have a special session in Matt Molloy’s with some of the most incredible musician that Mayo has. Who wouldn’t want to be there? DAY 8 – Through Connemara to Galway Through Connemara to Galway Today’s journey is one of the most scenic drives in all of Ireland. Traveling through Louisburgh, we’ll make our way toward Leenane via the hauntingly beautiful Doolough Pass, a landscape rich in both natural beauty and history. We’ll stop at the moving Doolough Memorial and enjoy photo opportunities at the picturesque Aasleagh Falls before arriving in Leenane for lunch at the beloved Hamilton’s Restaurant. This afternoon, we’ll explore the magnificent Kylemore Abbey and its stunning Victorian walled gardens, one of Ireland’s most treasured landmarks. Later, we’ll arrive in vibrant Galway City and settle into the elegant Park House Hotel. Galway is famous for its music, and tonight you’ll quickly discover why. Step outside and you’ll find live music, lively pubs, and fantastic atmosphere around every corner. DAY 9 – Galway: Culture, Music & Farewell Celebrations Galway: Culture, Music & Farewell Celebrations This morning we’ll explore the colourful streets of Galway with a guided walking tour, discovering the stories, characters, and traditions that make this city so special. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy. Shop, explore, relax, or revisit your favourite spots before our final evening together. Tonight, we’ll gather for a special Farewell Concert at Darcy’s, just a short stroll from the hotel, followed by our Farewell Dinner and one last opportunity to raise a glass with your fellow travelers. Expect great music, wonderful memories, and plenty of laughter as we celebrate an incredible journey through Ireland’s mysterious Northwest. DAY 10 – Safe Travels & Slán Abhaile Safe Travels & Slán Abhaile After breakfast, a shuttle service will transfer guests to their onward transportation. Departure times will be confirmed closer to the day based on travel schedules. As your Northwest Ireland adventure comes to an end, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories, new friendships, incredible photographs, and a deeper connection to Ireland’s landscapes, music, stories, and people.
