Drawn with a ruler, the ladders follow one another as variations around a single motif. Julie exhausts their forms while questioning their symbolism, cataloguing these objects that promise elevation while also evoking the possibility of falling. Between classification and obsession, Vertigo looks at the fragility of the gaze when facing height, transforming the repetition of the motif into a calm and paradoxical attempt to tame vertigo.
