From the beginning we get a pleasant freshness that evokes ripe blackcurrant and morello cherry, supple and long on the palate, supported by a lively backbone. The mid-palate hits with a comfort-food-like texture, dense, mouth-filling. Licorice, game-y, undergrowth and black pepper linger on the tastebuds.
