6997 Musical Fidelity Elektra E600 Compact Disc Player — Grade B, Good | Remote Included | Fully Tested The Musical Fidelity Elektra E600 is a compact disc player produced by Musical Fidelity of London and made in England, dating from the late 1990s. Musical Fidelity was founded by Antony Michaelson in 1982 and built a strong reputation in the British hi-fi industry through a series of well-regarded integrated amplifiers and source components, initially under the A-Series name and subsequently through the Elektra range of which this player is part. The Elektra E600 occupied the upper tier of the Elektra CD player line-up — above the E60 and E601 — and is distinguished by its provision of both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR analogue outputs alongside both coaxial and optical digital outputs, a rear panel specification more commonly associated with considerably more expensive players of the period. This example has been checked and tested by Callum in our workshop and is fully functional throughout. It is supplied with the original Musical Fidelity Elektra E600 remote control. Condition: Grade B — Good This example shows light scratches and marks on the top cover consistent with age and use, as visible in the photographs. The front panel, transport, and rear panel are all in good order. Please refer to our photographs for a full assessment of cosmetic condition.
