Tasting Notes Tasting note: Nose: Rich and unmistakably Caroni. Layers of burnt rubber, fresh tar, diesel oil and smoke intertwine with roasted pineapple, brown sugar, leather and hints of marzipan. The elevated strength adds intensity without overwhelming the complexity. Palate: Surprisingly elegant for its proof. Notes of caramel, dark brown sugar and tropical fruits emerge alongside classic Caroni characteristics of fuel, black olives, leather and fresh asphalt. Ginger spice, roasted coconut, oak tannins and bitter grapefruit provide structure and remarkable depth.
