Serkyem offering set - copper
The serkyem offering set is used, in Tibetan buddhism, for making ritual offerings to Dharma protectors and guardians. The word serkyem means “golden-drink” and symbolises the offering of nectar. The serkyem offering is made by pouring a drink, such as wine, beer or black tea, into the taller container which sits in a wider lower bowl. Lamas of the past developed this practice to the Dharma protectors to request swift assistance in overcoming obstacles and problems, especially those related to Dharma practise. Material: copper
