A warm, smoky grey runs through this pear-cut diamond, scattered with the dark carbon flecks that give salt and pepper stones their character. The peppering gathers densely through the centre and lower body — clusters of black crystals and pinpoints suspended in a translucent ground — while the shoulder near the apex opens into a glassier window where the facets catch and throw light. The brilliant cut leans into that contrast rather than masking it, so the eye reads both the busy interior and the open, lit passages at once. Faceted in Surat, it's an entirely natural diamond sourced from Angola.
