The Smart Window Energy Recovery Ventilator Lower CO2 without wasting your AC. Breathe fresh, filtered air without sacrificing energy or comfort. SWERV installs in a sliding window and quietly brings in fresh outdoor air while exhausting stale indoor air, without dumping your AC out the window. Our newest edition, SWERV V2 Beta, is designed, hand-assembled, and tested by our small team of engineers at Greentown Labs near Boston, MA. This batch is limited to one unit per home due to high demand and low supply. What you get: SWERV uses quiet high-performance fans and delivers up to 110 CFM of airflow, intended to support single rooms up to 1,000 sq ft. Typical operation from our first 100 units is around 30-70% fan speed, ~35-54dB, and ~28-75 CFM which is more than enough for a tight bedroom with three people and/or pets sleeping. A ceramic energy recovery core helps keep your home comfortable year-round by recovering most of the heat and moisture as air exchanges. Each unit includes an easy-access 2-in-1 filter: MERV 13 + activated carbon, designed to reduce smoke, pollen, odors, pollution, and VOCs from incoming outdoor air. Typical filter life is 4 to 12 months, depending on usage and environmental conditions. Replacement filters (single filters, 3-packs, and 5-packs) are always available sold separately on our site. Your purchase also includes a full weather-tight window sealing kit that allows the unit to easily install in any sliding windows between 23"-48" in 10-15 minutes, not days like most ERVs. For added security, we recommend window locks, which can be purchased separately on our site. SWERV does NOT currently work in any type of tilt open/casement windows or sliding windows that are under 23 inches wide. SWERV V2 now includes optional CO2, temperature, and humidity sensors and connects to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to receive over-the-air updates. Right now, the app is very simple, but over the next few months we will continue to ship new updates, so your SWERV can keep getting quieter, more effective, and smarter over time based on what beta testers like you ask for! These units should be considered pre-production beta units. We take safety extremely seriously and test every unit, but some parts are still 3D printed in our lab to allow for rapid changes based on user feedback, so please tell us if there's anything we can do to improve our product. Beta testers agree to share basic feedback and air quality data. Your input helps us improve the design before we lock it for UL certification and mass manufacturing.
