Creating the Printed Image: Mixed Media Monoprints on Fabric with Judy Stone-Nunneley Oct. 24 & 25

Join us for our first ever workshop featuring monotype printmaking on fabric, with Judy Stone-Nunneley, BFA, MA, MFA Workshop Description: Experiment with the endless possibilities of mixed media monoprints on fabric! Explore a variety of approaches using stencils, painterly brush techniques, simple relief plates, chine colle ́, and layers of color and texture. Discussion and technical demonstrations focus on one-of-a-kind prints, working in a series and printing for garments. Create expressive, complex monoprints on a variety of natural fibers, including linen, cotton, vintage fabric, and hand-dyed fabric. This workshop is for all levels of experience.
