Origin & Production The organic rose plants used to make this oil are grown in the Kozani region of Northern Greece. The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the leaves and stems of the plants at the Vessel Distillery, near Thessaloniki. Aroma Bright, fresh and characteristic of rose. To create this fresh aroma, it takes over 60,000 roses (approximately 90 Kilo) to produce approximately 30 grams of rose otto essential oil. The oil is produced only from freshly harvested flowers, which are picked early in the morning to preserve their delicate aroma.
