Dr Kristian Rutenberg-Houchen

BDS (Hons), BSc (Hons). Registered General Dental Council No. 295778. Kristian graduated from dental school at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in 2021 after initially completing a degree in Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. Since then, he has worked in maxillofacial, oral surgery and special care dental services as well as general dental practice. Kristian continues to spend half the working week within the local Community Dental Services treating a wide variety of patients from those with medical complexities to anxious children or adults requiring treatment under conscious sedation. It is possibly this variety within dentistry he enjoys most. Everyone, and every smile, is different! Working with patients to achieve a healthy mouth and confidence in their smile will forever be rewarding. Outside of the dental clinic, Kristian enjoys cooking and baking, gardening, travelling and reading. He always has a creative project to keep him busy, whether it is stitching a frankly humongous tapestry, painting or upcycling.
