Melting Glass & Making Beads! Teen Camp - Monday 7/6 - Friday 7/10

Class size: Maximum of 5 students, minimum of 2. For kids ages 12 and up (Please list your child's name and age in the notes section at checkout) Is your teen looking for something unique and different to do this summer? How about sending them to the “hottest” camp around? During this exciting hands-on camp, students will learn the fundamentals of flameworking, or glass beadmaking, using a benchtop torch and soft glass. New this year - each day, we'll focus on a specific art project. Monday 7/6 - FUN WITH FRIT -beads decorated with crushed glass Tuesday 7/7 - CATS & DOGS - various breeds of dogs and cats Wednesday 7/8 -MARBLE MANIA - various styles of glass marbles Thursday 7/9 - FLORAL FANTASY - flower beads Friday 7/10 - ANIMAL FARM - owls, monkeys, penguins & more! Minimum of 3 students is required to run the camp. Sign up for the full week and save $20. Students may also attend for just part of the week. Each student will make between 5-10 beads each day, depending on the project. No experience is necessary and all materials are included.Camp size is very small -limited to 5 children to allow for individual attention. Minimum of 3 students is required to run the camp.
