Join Strut Jewelry owner & designer Alyssa in her home studio and learn to craft two beautiful stacking rings in 14k gold-fill in this beginner-level hands-on class. DURATION: Two (2) hours, 6pm-8pm INCLUDES: Supplies to make two (2) stacking rings PRICE: $159 + tax per participant CAPACITY: Small group allowing for lots of personal attention & assistance LOCATION: Local only, in Alyssa's west Ottawa home studio (near Baseline/Maitland Ave) Learn how to size your finger properly, basic metalsmithing skills (due to the delicate nature of 14k gold-fill Alyssa will solder your rings for you - if you'd like to try soldering additional material will be available for purchase at class in case of errors!), studio safety, forming, texturing and finishing basics, and leave with insider knowledge about material & tool sourcing, tips and tricks for setting up a home practice, plus TWO shiny rings handmade by YOU! This class is suitable for ages 16+. Alyssa has a small, hypoallergenic pup who will be in studio :) IMPORTANT: Class cancellation policy can be found here.
