Crochet: Granny Squares Bucket Hat ~ May 15th from 6pm to 9pm
Instructor: Delaney Leonard Advanced Beginner Crochet Class: Granny Square Bucket Hat Join us to learn how to make granny square bucket hats! Participants will learn how to make the squares, sew them together to make the body of the hat, and crochet increases for the brim. Participants should be comfortable with crochet basics, including slip knots, chaining, double crochet, and single crochet. This is a very beginner friendly project! Participants should bring at least two different colors of yarn for their hat, and a minimum of 100g each color. Skills you should already have: You need to know how to chain, single crochet, and double crochet. Suggested Supplies (you can bring your own or purchase in the shop) Either #2, fine or #3 light worsted weight cotton (medium weight, light-colored yarn makes stitches easier to see) Crochet hook size E/4 (3.5mm) or F/5 (3.75mm) for #2 yarn or G/6 (4mm), 7 (4.5mm) or H/8 (5mm) for #3 light worsted weight Small pair of scissors or yarn snips Tapestry needle for weaving in ends Come ready to learn, laugh, and leave with a new skill you can use for a lifetime of making! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Illness protocol: Please do not attend class if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to COVID or another virus.
