However, during some spring cleaning in our Michigan studio, we uncovered a hidden batch of these fiery Carnelian beads tucked away in our bead cabinet, enough to hand-string a final limited run! Each mala is hand-assembled at our Michigan shop using sustainable Bodhi seed beads sourced directly from Nepal. These seeds provide a dark, earthy contrast to the vibrant Carnelian, creating a balanced tool for daily mindfulness. Inspired by the 2026 Blood Moon – While this style first launched during the 2018 eclipse, its revival feels perfectly timed with the Blood Moon lunar eclipse we just witnessed in March 2026. Bodhi Seed beads are ideal for mantra counting, breathwork, or any moment you just need to recenter. Bodhi means enlightenment in Sanskrit, and these seeds are often called “little teachers” for the quiet wisdom they carry. Just as the Buddha reached awakening beneath the Bodhi tree, each seed serves as a reminder to pause, breathe, and grow - one moment at a time. Carnelian promotes confidence and creativity, giving you the courage to make positive life choices. It is believed to protect the wearer from negativity and restore self-esteem and happiness.
