Beach Bliss

Adam shoots in black-and-white on Naxos, the largest of the Greek Cyclades and the unusual one — most islands in the chain are stone, with small pebble coves between cliffs. Naxos has the sand. Its southwest coast runs miles of pale beach from Agios Prokopios south through Plaka to Mikri Vigla, where the Meltemi wind arrives most summer afternoons and turns the lower stretch into a kite-surfing hub. Adam strips the color, leaves the line of body and shoreline.
