We bring it in directly from Alpha Hookah in St. Petersburg as a complete stem set — silicone hose, colour-matched aluminium mouthpiece, stainless steel tray with heat-resistant powder-coated finish, removable diffuser and branded presentation box. Everything you need for a session, except the base — and we've left that for you to choose. Bowl fitment: accepts most standard phunnel bowls and traditional clay bowls with the included silicone bowl grommet. Hose system: magnetic — the supplied silicone hose attaches and detaches without threading. How To Use Pair the stem to your chosen base by pushing the downstem firmly into the base grommet until it seals. Snap the magnetic hose into the side port — no threading, no rotation needed. Fit your bowl to the top spire using the included silicone bowl grommet. For a tighter traditional pull, leave the diffuser in place. For a wide-open draw, unscrew the diffuser from the bottom of the downstem. To purge, exhale gently into the hose mouthpiece — smoke vents upward through the eight-slot vertical purge in the bell. For travel, unscrew the stem into its component sections and pack into the presentation box. Pair with coconut charcoal and a foil-wrapped bowl, or upgrade to a heat management device for cleaner, more consistent heat. Care & Maintenance After each session, empty the base and rinse with warm water. Wipe the stem with a damp cloth once it has cooled fully. Use a long-handled bore brush with warm soapy water for deeper cleans. Remove the diffuser before cleaning the bore so the screen rinses separately. Keep the magnetic hose port dry and wipe away any sticky residue with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers on the anodised aluminium overlay and matte finish. The tray has a heat-resistant powder-coated finish — don't leave burning coals sitting directly on the surface for extended stretches, and use a coal carrier or rest when transferring hot coals. Never put any component in a dishwasher. Store disassembled in the presentation box when not in regular use. Yes — the Alpha Hookah X ships complete with a magnetic silicone hose and a colour-matched aluminium mouthpiece, both from the Alpha factory and both designed to work as one system. The kit also includes the tray, removable diffuser, grommet set and presentation box. The only piece you'll need to add is the base. Why doesn't the Alpha Hookah X come with a base or vase? Because we've chosen to bring it in that way. With the diffuser fitted, the draw is tighter and denser — airflow passes through the diffuser screen, which adds resistance and breaks the bubbles into smaller, quieter streams. Unscrew the diffuser from the bottom of the downstem and the draw opens right up — wider pull, louder bubbles, classic-style airflow. Both configurations are built into the X by design, so you can switch between them at any point in the session. Is the diffuser removable? Yes. The diffuser screws into the base of the downstem and can be removed for a wide-open airflow profile, or kept in place for a tighter traditional pull. The supplied silicone hose attaches by magnet rather than thread or push-fit, and it's colour-matched to the stem. Third-party hoses will only fit if they have a compatible magnetic adapter — the stock hose is the recommended pairing and is included in every kit.
