The Bakers Jacket is one of Universal Works signature styles, here in a thin version made of recycled polyester & cotton. The name “Bakers” was adopted from Universal Works Co-Founder and Designer's father, who wore a simple coverall for his job as a baker. Whilst conforming to the key principles of a chore jacket (a simple utility garment, often worn as a protective layer), our Bakers jacket has several distinctive features; from seams to create the shape, layered pockets and our signature diagonal buttonhole on the button stand. This jacket is a great everyday staple designed to be worn wherever and however you like. Woven from recycled polyester fibres and cotton, this compact fabric has a clean, utilitarian look.
