Ruby and sterling pendulum necklace

A scatter of rubies add subtle deep red highlights to this hand carved sterling silver pendant. The pendant has a tapered pendulum-like form, with an indented organic surface, like many of my pieces, influenced by rock formations and underwater corals, carefully oxidised to enhance the patina. The pendant hangs from a spiga chain which has a woven and fluid feel, strong and smooth allowing the pendant to run along the surface easily. The pendant measures 4cm including the sturdy pendant loop at the top, and a maximum width of 1cm. The chain measures 18inch. Hallmarked at London Assay Office.
