【Jazz Signature: Talie Monin Trio】 Talie 的音樂旅程始於南非，隨後轉往巴黎，於美國現代音樂學院American School of Modern Music及Bill Evans Piano Academy著名的 Sarah Lazarus 人聲工作室深造。定居香港後，她迅速成為本地爵士圈的中堅力量，更在 2019 年憑藉首張個人專輯《24 Strathay》奪得南非爵士大獎「最佳爵士女歌手」。曾多次受邀於瑞士Montreux Jazz Festival演出，亦曾與香港管弦樂團合作，展現爵士語境的深厚功力。 本場演出，Talie Monin 將與結他手 Dan LaVelle 及低音大提琴手 Jimmy Pittman 組成三重奏，演繹多首爵士標準曲。三重奏的編制更考驗樂手間的交流，Talie 對爵士經典的獨到見解，配合吉他與低音大提琴的極簡對話，將會為這些金曲注入一種既當代又親暱的質感。 Talie’s musical journey began in South Africa before taking her to Paris, where she pursued vocal training at the American School of Modern Music and the renowned Sarah Lazarus Vocal Atelier at the Bill Evans Piano Academy. After settling in Hong Kong, she quickly became a central figure in the local jazz scene. In 2019, she won Best Female Jazz Artist at the South African Jazz Awards for her debut album 24 Strathay. She has performed multiple times at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and has also appeared with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, demonstrating a strong command of the jazz tradition. For this performance, Talie Monin will lead a trio with guitarist Dan LaVelle and double bassist Jimmy Pittman, presenting a selection of jazz standards.
