JURA 3X Holder

The Juratools 3X Holder is the core component that gives the 3X Ball Vise its name. It enables movement and precise positioning along the Z-axis, providing full control over the workpiece. The lower part of the vise remains stable and acts as a counterweight for increased stability. The upper part, however, moves freely in the X and Y directions and rotates around its own central axis, allowing the workpiece to be aligned with exceptional precision. The 3X Holder further enhances these functions with the ability to tilt, rotate across multiple axes, and independently rotate the collet - enabling smooth and controlled adjustments. The main function of this system is to align any point of the workpiece precisely with the centre of rotation. This makes it an essential tool for work under a microscope and allows for maximum control and efficiency - particularly for techniques such as scroll engraving, rub-over setting, bright cutting, and hammer setting.
