The LW Scientific® Combo V24T™ handles both test-tube and microhematocrit separations in a single instrument. Rotors change by hand with no tools, so one unit covers serological testing, PRP preparation, urine sediment work, and packed-cell-volume determination. Microhematocrit separations finish in about three minutes at 12,000 rpm, and results are read directly from the rotor using the included reader disc. A brushless high-speed motor keeps operation quiet and effectively maintenance-free, while digital speed and time controls with an auto brake give repeatable runs and fast stops.
