Scale-up of mRNA Production in Reaction Vessel

Messenger RNA (mRNA) synthesis by in vitro transcription (IVT) is a cell-free process to produce RNA by T7 RNA polymerase reactions. Synthesized RNA such as mRNA is widely used in protein expression, vaccine production, animal transgenesis and many other applications. BiCell Scientific Inc’s scale-up service of mRNA production utilizes linear plasmid DNA as template to synthesize mRNA that are 5′-end capped and 3′-end tailed with poly-A. BiCell Scientific Inc’s mRNA reaction vessel is able to achieve the synthesis of mRNA yield of up to 1 mg/ml in 1L volume.
