Day/Time Sat, 10-11:45am 8 Week Course September: 9/12, 9/19, October: 10/17, 10/24, 10/31 November: 11/7, 11/14, 11/28 Experience Prior taiko experience necessary Description - A powerful and graceful style that originates from Hachijo Island of Japan, Hachijo Daiko is a strictly improvisational style of taiko played by only two people: the soloist and the base-beat player. - In this course, students will learn the fundamentals and will be guided through drills and exercises designed to help increase confidence in expressing oneself. --------------------------------------------------------------- Payment Options Two-Installment Payment Plan: Total course fee is $240, paid in two installments of $120 each. First payment is due today at checkout, and second payment will be automatically charged on October 31, 2026 to the card provided at the time of first payment. No full-payment option available.
