Nomad Book Weight – Midnight with Copper

The Nomad Book Weight was born out of a desire to have a no fuss, packable book weight while traveling. To that end the Nomad begins with a high quality leather strap mated to solid copper bars for weight (which will also take on a beautiful patina over time). We try to make sure all the finish details are attended to, and every leather strap is hand beveled to give it the end look it deserves. Copper Nomads utilize copper plated binding posts and a solid copper button. Anti-slip pads on the bottoms of the weights are just grippy enough to keep things in place but not so grippy as to harm the pages. Keep in mind that natural copper will tarnish in time and lose its brightness. Periodic cleaning with a high quality metal cleaner is recommended if the brighter finish is desired, but not recommended with this product as the cleaner may stain the leather strap.
