Sugar Press - Wooden Tray for Molding Sweets
Ladybugs love sweet things, and sticky-sweet “honeydew” excretions make aphids extra palatable to them. Use your wooden mold to create shaped sugar cakes. Press brown sugar into it and then tap it firmly on a table to release a detailed sugar cake. (Spray the mold with oil to facilitate an easier release.) You can also use your mold to shape shortbread (dust it with flour or sugar) or to press butter, fondant, mooncakes, or mochi. Of course, your pretty wooden mold can simply be displayed in your kitchen. Or use its two wells to sort your trinkets! Your sugar press has two floral-patterned wells to make two unique sugar cakes. The press is about 8.5 inches long and can create two sugar cakes that are about 2" in diameter. For best results, spray your mold with oil before use. Firmly press brown sugar into the wells of the press, making sure there is no loose sugar. Then, flip the press over and tap it on a table or serving tray. You will have two beautiful sugar cakes! The Sugar Press was featured in the Ladybugs Box (July 2026). Photo props are not included.
