Mad River Custom Fireplace Doors

Mad River Custom Fireplace Doors are a great addition to any masonry fireplace. Fireplace doors help correct poorly drafting fireplaces and add an extra level of safety by preventing logs from rolling out onto the hearth. Mad River Fireplace Doors are constructed with an extruded aluminum door frame, 2 5/8" wide main frame panels and 3/4" deep aluminum main frames. The door frame will have a 2 1/4" overlap on the top and the sides of the fireplace. Equipped with tempered glass door panels that are able to withstand extremely high temperatures that wood burning fireplaces generate. The universal mounting kit allows for easy installation, either by clamping to the fireplace lintel or using pressure brackets on the sides. To further customize the fireplace doors to match the home's aesthetic, several options are available for door handles, glass color, door styles and finish colors. An Optional Mesh Screen is available to add an extra level of safety for when the fireplace doors are open. How To Measure For this quote all you need to get started is the height and width of the fireplace. Take the smallest measurement the height and the width. When the fireplace doors are purchased, a measurement form will be sent to you to provide additional measurements to ensure the doors fit properly. Options Glass Color Choose between Grey or Clear glass color. The grey glass offers a uniquely dim view of the fire. The clear glass will offer a bright and vibrant view of the fire. Door Styles Choose between Cabinet and Bifold door styles. The Cabinet door style is like traditional cabinets with two door panels that hinge on each side. The Cabinet doors offer the clearest view of the fire. The Bifold doors are the most common fireplace door available. The Bifold doors have four glass panels and will not extend into the living space as much as the cabinet doors. Handle Options Options include Square, Contemporary, and Designer door handles. Choose the handles that will best fit your home's decor. The handles are positioned on the top of the door panel. Optional Mesh Choose between Cabinet, Single Hinged Left, or Single Hinged Right mesh options. The optional Mesh screen is available to prevent any sparks from popping out of the fireplace onto the hearth when the doors are open. Cabinet Mesh is a two panel mesh that hinges on each side and is the most popular option for wood burning fireplaces. The Cabinet Mesh can allow you to open only one side of the mesh when reloading preventing excess sparks from popping out of the fireplace. Single mesh has a hinge located on either the right or left side based on preference. Single mesh is most common for gas fireplaces. Finish Colors Choose the Finish Color for the Main Frame, Door Frame and Handles. With 11 color options available, the possibilities for color combinations are endless.
