SAM Mount Rainier Porcelain Mug

SAM exclusive porcelain mug featuring Mount Rainier, Bay of Tacoma-Puget Sound, 1875, by Sanford Robinson Gifford. In the summer of 1874, Gifford set out by himself for Oregon and Alaska. Returning from the far north, Gifford traveled the length of Puget Sound and was able to see the great domes of the Cascades. The appearance of the ethereal-seeming, majestic Mount Rainier on an August afternoon clearly enchanted him. Image beautifully reproduced on a 14 oz porcelain mug. Comes nested in a custom box with matching image.
