String care is not optional An unwaxed string frays, takes on moisture and eventually breaks – usually at the worst possible moment. Waxed every few hundred shots, a Dacron string lasts for years. It takes a minute and is the cheapest insurance in archery. For the leather too Cowhide gloves, armguards and quivers go hard over time if they get wet and dry unattended.
