Tall Porcelain Cup

A perfectly formed tall porcelain cup thrown on the potter's wheel by ceramicist Adam Frew in the North of Ireland. Adam favours simple forms which he uses as a canvas for spontaneous mark-making, a contrast to the finely thrown porcelain. Sharp lines, crayon scribbles, brush marks, and sponged-back sections reflect the energy and passion Adam invests in his craft. Whether you're a tea or a generous cuppa coffee person, this cup is a joy to use. Perfectly functional, it is incredibly tactile and feels comfortable in the hand. We have categorised this style into three options: waves, loops, or brushstrokes. As each is hand-painted, variances will occur. Dimensions: Each porcelain cup measures 8.5cm in diameter (11cm including handle) x 9cm tall. Signed on the base with a simple maker's mark of AF.
