For extra soothing relief, add 1–2 drops of witch hazel. Screw the cap back on firmly. Invert the bottle. Turn it upside down and place one finger over the valve on the nozzle to stop the flow until you're ready. Position and release. Sit on the toilet and position the angled tip toward the perineal area. Remove your finger from the valve to start the flow. Squeeze gently. Apply light pressure to the bottle for a gentle, continuous stream. Repeat as needed. Pat dry with a clean soft cloth, don't wipe.
