September | Hug in a Bowl
Create your own super cozy soup bowl with us at the studio! We'll teach you how to make it completely from scratch with easy, step-by-step instruction, so no experience is needed. This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect way to create a beautiful handmade bowl you'll love using all season long. We hope to see you at the studio soon! Yes, you can personalize the design! All our classes are taught step-by-step by one of our talented instructors. No experience is needed, all materials and first kiln fire are included. If you would like to paint (glaze) your pottery after the workshop, you can book a glazing session for $15/hour (not included in the hand-building workshop price). The glazing fee covers painting materials (underglazes) and two additional kiln firings to make your pieces food-safe and/or water-resistant. Teens ages 12 and up are welcome to join workshops marked as "adult and families" without adult supervision. Pieces are ready to glaze about week after the workshop, and we hold them at the studio for up to two months while you book your glazing appointment!
