CIRCA 1890 DERAEDEMAEKER REPRINT SOUTHGATE CARICATURE No.4 'BLARNEY STONE', FRONT ONLY. A good unused, front only circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint Southgate caricature No.4, depicting with political images, the Queen instead of Britannia with a portrait of Prince Albert suspended from her neck. The Lion is seated upon the 'BLARNEY STONE' which has the head of Daniel O'Connell. To the left and right are various political characters such as Sir Robert Peel, Sir James Graham and the Duke of Wellington. (Ref 143923).
