Vermut + Gilda Making Workshop

Saturday, 12 September, 3-4pm Join us at Made from Grapes for an afternoon dedicated to one of Spain's most underrated drinks: vermut. Forget what you think you know about it — in Spain it's a whole ritual, a reason to stop, sit outside, and eat something salty with friends. Spanish Food & Wine Educator Isobel Salamon will be pouring 5 vermuts from across Spain — different regions, different colours, wildly different personalities — talking you through what makes each one tick, before you get hands-on making your own gilda: the punchy Basque bite of olive, anchovy and pickled pepper that's practically vermut's other half. It's a small, hands-on session, so spots are limited.
