Sphere city

"Sphere City" gathers an entire city into a closed form – like a world of its own, separate yet alive. The buildings grow densely, layer upon layer, until they form a sphere. There is no clear up or down, no center that controls everything. Everything coexists. The work reflects David's way of building worlds to understand his own. A city that does not expand – but rather closes in on itself. Like a thought spinning endlessly. "Sphere City" is both cosmos and close-up. A world in miniature – created to get lost in.
