Digitrax UT6D LocoNet Duplex Utility Throttle is a compact handheld controller designed for use with compatible LocoNet systems and Duplex wireless layouts. Its compact design makes it convenient for one-handed operation while providing a wide range of locomotive, turnout, and wireless control features for model railroad operators. The Digitrax UT6D LocoNet Duplex Utility Throttle features a color 1.5-inch LCD display screen and full numeric keys for convenient locomotive selection. It provides access to 2- or 4-digit locomotive decoder addresses, supporting more than 9,000 locomotive addresses. A fine speed-control encoder knob allows precise speed adjustments, while the forward/reverse toggle switch provides directional control with braking. The throttle supports 29 functions, giving operators convenient access to locomotive features. It also supports Digitrax infrared operation when used with UR90, UR91, or UR92 receivers. For wireless operation, Duplex compatibility with UR93/92 provides additional flexibility for compatible layouts. The UT6D also includes a Duplex Scanner and Duplex settings editor, allowing operators to work with supported Duplex system settings directly from the throttle. In addition, it supports more than 2,000 turnout decoder addresses, making it useful for controlling turnouts and other layout accessories. A locomotive recall feature provides convenient access to previously selected locomotives, while the throttle option setup allows operators to configure the controller for their preferred operating needs. The detachable LocoNet cable makes connection and storage convenient. The throttle includes an on/off switch and can operate using AA or BP600MH batteries.
