Darjeeling Turzum Wonder Second Flush Black Tea 2026

Turzum EX-32 “Wonder” is a beautifully crafted summer Darjeeling that captures the celebrated muscatel character of Turzum in a remarkably rounded and lingering cup. Plucked on 15 May 2026 from selected B157 and T78 cultivars, this FTGFOP1 leaf was manufactured under the direction of Tea Master Mr. Abhishek Dev. The carefully hand-sorted dry leaf is attractive and well made, displaying a handsome bloom interspersed with fine tips. On infusion, the leaves open to a bright coppery colour, releasing a wonderfully expressive nose in which the characteristic muscatel fragrance immediately comes forward. The liquor is rounded, smooth and full of character, carrying a pronounced muscatel expression through the palate. Its ripe, aromatic depth is supported by an elegant structure and culminates in a particularly pleasing, persistent finish—the flavour seeming to linger long after the cup has been emptied.
