Friendsips Dimyat Sauvignon Blanc (Bulgaria)

This is the perfect wine for a Sauvignon Blanc fan looking to try something new. This is a Bulgarian Sauvignon Blanc blended with the local grape Dimyat, which is accessible and extremely easy to drink! This wine is zesty, with notes of apple blossom, citrus and tarragon. As the name suggests, it was made for easy, social drinking. The blend is 70% Sauvignon and 30% Dimyat. The Friendsips range was created by Petar Georgiev and Radostin Milkov who travelled the world in 2014 to gain fresh ideas, before embarking on their creation of contemporary Bulgarian wines that celebrated native varieties such as Mavrud, Rubin, Misket and Dimyat. Joined by celebrated young winemaker Nikolay Krastev, their style allows for all their wines to feel modern and elegant, revealing the beauty of native grapes alongside international varieties Try as an aperitif or with shellfish, seafood, fresh vegetables, or light cheeses.
