Single Cultivar Asanoka Batch 002

Our newest Single Cultivar: Asanoka Batch 002, crafted entirely from the distinctive Asanoka cultivar. Grown refined, and processed in Fukuoka, this matcha comes from 100% first-flush, stone milled tencha, this is a single-origin, single-cultivar matcha that shows exactly what one exceptional leaf can do. One of our bolder matchas at the moment, this bright green matcha has a pronounced savory character and deep umami that distinguishes it from sweeter and nuttier teas. It's a connoisseur's cup, equally striking whisked into usucha or layered into koicha. Great for unwinding after a long day, our founder, Axel, calls this his "comfy" matcha.
