CSF09 – Howlden GNR Clerestory Vehicles

A publication providing number series, diagrams and vehicle photographs ( if available). This publication provides information on the Clerestory Coaching Stock built by E F Howlden at the Doncaster Works for the Great Northern Railway (GNR). In the introduction there is brief history to introduce the Cravens, Pullman and MSLR Clerestory vehicles that inaugurated the early dining car services. This publication does not include Clerestory vehicles built by the GNR for the East Coast Joint Stock for the North of England and Scottish Services. The vehicle diagrams included in this publication can be seen in the photographs of the contents pages. Sample photographs of the pages included in each diagram entry are included with this product entry, the publication also includes a Contents list, Introduction, an Appendix to record each vehicle by Diagram with changes to that vehicle over its life, there is also a short section of photographs.
