Chunky Comfort: Hand Knitted Throw Blanket Create a luxurious, oversized hand-knitted throw blanket using chunky yarn and hand-knitting techniques. This workshop focuses on rhythm, consistency, and building a statement piece that adds warmth and texture to your home. No prior knitting experience is required. What You’ll Make • One oversized hand-knitted throw blanket What To Expect • Introduction to hand knitting techniques (no needles required) • Guidance on creating consistent loops and maintaining even tension • Instruction on shaping and finishing methods • Support throughout the project from start to completion Due to the size of the project and physical demands of working with chunky yarn, most participants do not complete their blanket within the 2-hour class time. Students may: • Leave their unfinished blanket at the studio and return on Tuesdays or Thursdays to continue working. While this is not a formal lesson time, the instructor can be available for quick questions or guidance. • Take their blanket home and record the instructor completing the finishing steps so they can confidently complete the project independently.
