It matters more than most people expect, and it is the difference between tasting what you paid for and scorching it. Live rosin — lowest setting. Rosin is full of delicate terpenes and running it hot destroys exactly what makes it worth the price. Live resin — low to medium. Liquid diamonds — medium. And clean the threading and centre pin with a cotton swab and isopropyl every couple of weeks: oil creeping into the connection is the single most common cause of a 510 battery that appears to have died.
