Basic Knit Sock Class; 7/11, 7/25 & 8/8

Basic Knit Socks 3 Sessions: Saturdays- 7/11, 7/25 & 8/8 from 1:00- 3:00pm Instructor: Rachel Kieselburg Location: Strikke Yarn & Supply $105 Learn to knit a basic sock cuff down, with a heel flap and gusset. In this class, we'll use a DK weight yarn so you can practice the basic construction and make a pair of thick and cozy socks. This is one of the most common sock constructions, so after completing this class you'll have the basic skills to explore countless sock patterns. Experience: Knitting Basics 103, or confidence in knitting in the round on either DPNs or Magic Loop. Materials to bring to class: 200-245 yards DK weight sock yarn, wound into 2 balls US size 3 (your choice of DPNs, 32" needle for magic loop, 9" circular needle, or two circular needles) Pattern : your choice, see below for options: Basic: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dk-weight-vanilla-socks Homework: cast on and work until the heel Class is in our retail location at 1010 First Street, Snohomish, WA 98290 Doors will open 10 minutes before class starts.
