Athena Leah Luna Tutorial

Athena Leah Luna comes from my original Striking Glass Masterclass and brings reduction and striking together in one layered Double Helix study. This tutorial works through the flame chemistry behind the bead as much as the actual construction. We’ll use reduction, striking, silver foil and transparent layers while paying attention to how atmosphere, heat and timing change the color developing in the glass. It is not required, but understanding reduction, striking and flame atmosphere will make it much easier to understand what I am doing in the flame and why.
