The Raimond II pendant light by Moooi, designed by Raimond Puts in 2009, transforms geometric structure into a contemporary interpretation of a star-filled sky. Inspired by the geodesic dome and the designer’s fascination with prime numbers, its stainless steel sphere is formed by a fine triangular mesh punctuated with small LEDs and PMMA lenses. The open construction creates a light visual presence while casting a precise, atmospheric glow. Raimond II is available in several sizes and can be paired with Moooi’s Wireless Wall Switch for intuitive light control.
