It started with the idea of drawing animals on the Albert Cuyp market, eating stroopwafels. I loved drawing the city around it so much, that I decited to draw the rest of this beautiful city too, with al the "people" in it. Just as animals, like I usually like imagining. Heineken is known all over the world for its beer, but it all started right in the heart of Amsterdam. Although the brewery itself is now somewhere else, you can still get a feel for it in the Heineken Experience, very near to the Albert Cuyp market. Eventually, they will all be in a book, a kind of love letter to the city I love living in so much! For now they will be available as cards and prints.
